Holy Smoke Comedy presents

St. Philip Neri Festival

Catholic joy & laughter

A full day of games, food, music and comedy at Vertuccio Farms — the one festival in the Diocese that is Catholic from front gate to closing prayer. Bring the whole family, bring a date, or come meet new friends.

In 2027 Holy Smoke Comedy is stepping in as the new event producers — bringing in a lot of new attractions, and keeping the ones people loved.

What it is

A day of Catholic joy & laughter

St. Philip Neri deliberately cultivated holy cheerfulness and used humor to heal. The festival named for him is exactly that: a Saturday at the farm where faith and fun sit at the same picnic table.

Wander the vendor market, let the kids loose on the slides and the petting zoo, grab lunch or dinner from the food trucks, and settle in for a Holy Smoke Comedy show as the sun goes down.

It is the only fully Catholic festival in the Diocese, and it is built for everybody — grandparents, toddlers, teenagers who insist they are too cool for this, and the priests and sisters who always end up on stage.

The kind of day you wish happened more often.

  • Six hours of agritainment, comedy and community — one ticket covers the day.
  • Catholic vendors, sisters, priests and local performers all in one place.
  • A Grown-Ups Social Corner (21+) with pub trivia, board games and an improv jam.

The plan

Your day at the farm

Six hours, one gate, no rushing. Come for the afternoon, stay for the comedy show.

  1. 2:00 PM

    Gates open

The market, the games and the whole agritainment run open up. Opening prayer starts us off.

  2. Afternoon

Roam the farm with the family, or chill at the Grown-Ups Social Corner

Vendors, face painting, the petting zoo, slides, yard games and story time with the sisters. Full running order coming soon.

  3. All day

Lunch or dinner from the food trucks

Eat whenever you like — the trucks run all day. Grab a bite, find a seat near the stage and let the music carry you into the show.

  4. 7:00 PM

    Holy Smoke Comedy live

The main event — a Holy Smoke Comedy show on the big stage. Unscripted, unhinged, and virtuous about it.

  5. 8:00 PM

    Closing prayer & goodnight

We finish the way we started: together.

The full hour-by-hour schedule is still being finalized. Performers, workshop times and the raffle draw will be posted here as soon as they are locked in — check back, or join our list and we will send it to you.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Is it really for all ages?

Yes. The festival is built around families — toddlers on the slides, teenagers in the yard games, grandparents in the shade. The 7 PM comedy show is written to be clean and enjoyable for everyone in the family.

What is the Grown-Ups Social Corner?

A separate 21+ corner of the festival with beer and wine, Catholic pub trivia, board games, an improv comedy jam and a joke contest. Valid ID required.

Is food included?

No — food and drink are sold on site by the food trucks and vendors, so bring a card or some cash. Your ticket covers entry, the activities and the comedy show.

What should we wear and bring?

Closed-toe shoes for the farm ground, sun protection for the afternoon, and a jacket for the evening — the desert cools off quickly once the sun goes down.

Do we need to buy tickets in advance?

Advance tickets through Givebutter are the surest way in and the fastest at the gate.

Can our parish, school or business have a booth?

We would love that. Send us a message and we will get you the vendor details.

See you at the farm
